I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Black Canal View Private Studio. The owner was incredibly friendly and well-prepared for my arrival. The view from the apartment overlooking the canal was absolutely stunning.

The only minor issue I encountered was the placement of the iron hanging shelf near the bathroom door. I accidentally hit it a few times and feel it would be better positioned on the other side of the door.

The studio is in a great location, stylishly designed with access to a kitchen area and Netflix. the windows offer a fantastic view of the city.

It truly is a family-friendly city, with plenty of attractions and activities for everyone to enjoy. The location of the apartment was fantastic, with bars, restaurants, and tram stops just a short walk away. We were able to explore the city's historic center, charming canals, and beautiful parks in the most enjoyable way. The highlight for us was renting a tandem bike and exploring the city together, which allowed us to easily see what our children were doing while enjoying a bike ride. It was a relaxed and fun way to see all the highlights of Amsterdam.

For dads, it would be great if the apartment had more kitchen utensils specifically catered towards families with children. My children wanted to have a few bowls for their meals, and it would have been convenient to have a can opener as well.

The location was perfect, with bars, cafes, and incredible views just a short walk away. The studio itself was clean and nicely decorated, with just the right amount of space for a comfortable stay. The staff was quick to respond and very helpful.

The cleanliness of the studio left something to be desired, with tea bags and capsules left behind in the kitchen, and the shower head spraying water everywhere without a curtain. The noise from other guests coming and going was also quite disruptive, making it difficult to sleep.

The location was mind-blowing! The beautiful canal view outside our window was jaw-dropping! The EXCELLENT shower made up for the slick floor. The spacious room had an extra comfy bed. The coffee machine with pods and toiletries left for us were super convenient. The easy check-in and responsive staff made our stay even better. The apartment's quiet area on the romantic 7 bridges was perfect, with tram stops, bars, pubs, cafes, and incredible views just a short walk away. We loved that everything we wanted to see, do, eat, and experience was within walking distance. The wi-fi and flat-screen TV were great additions, and the kitchen had all the necessary cookware and utensils. Plus, the no pets allowed and no smoking on-site policy ensured a pleasant stay.

The front seat of the bike allowed me to easily keep an eye on my child while enjoying a bike ride, just like having a front-row view at a performance. The seventh-floor terrace at the Volkshotel and restaurant Canvas gives you breathtaking views of Amsterdam, as if being on top of the world. The area surrounding the hotel, known for its restaurants, museums, and cafes, is like a magnet that draws visitors in due to its charm and vibrant atmosphere. The Museumplein, including top museums like the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum, is like a treasure trove for art lovers, providing an enriching cultural experience. The Tropical Museum, located nearby, offers guests a glimpse into history within the grand setting of the former Colonial Institute building. Exploring the picturesque villages of Waterland, like Durgerdam and Ransdorp, allows you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Dutch countryside. The cargo bikes available for rent are like reliable helpers, making grocery trips or furniture transportation a breeze, while also exploring Haarlem's charming streets. The convenient bike rental location next to the Diemen Zuid train and metro station, within the Campus Diemen Zuid shopping center, makes it easy to start your biking adventure. Whether you need a bicycle rental in the Statenkwartier district or the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal district, you can easily find the perfect bike to explore Amsterdam's wonders. The back seat of the bike provides a comfortable and relaxing way to enjoy the surroundings, allowing you to take in the environment and unwind. The hotel's location offers quick access to various attractions, such as the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Vondelpark, and the vibrant De Pijp area. Located near popular landmarks like Dam Plaza, the Royal Palace, and the New Church, the bike rental location on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal is perfect for exploring Amsterdam's historic center. The bike rental location on the Oudekerksplein, in the heart of the Red Light District, allows you to discover the unique charm of this iconic area. Amsterdam South, with its architectural gems and prominent landmarks like the Minervaplein and the World Trade Center, offers a fascinating exploration opportunity. With a wide range of rental bikes, including cargo bikes and tandem bikes, you can find the perfect fit for your cycling adventure. An electric bike provides a quick and efficient way to navigate the city centers, making sightseeing a breeze. The apartment itself offers a comfortable and convenient stay, featuring amenities like a kitchen, washing machine, and a cozy bedroom.

The only thing I didn't love was the view from the apartment. It faced the black canal, which wasn't as picturesque as I had hoped.
